The liquid is pale, but oil-rich extraits can still mark delicate or light fabric. Spray from arm's length, test a hidden seam first, and skip silk.

It means 40–45% of what's in the bottle is fragrance oil. The rest is the alcohol that sprays it. An eau de parfum usually holds 15 to 20% oil, and an eau de toilette 5 to 15%. More oil leaves more scent behind once the alcohol dries, which shows most on fabric.
