“Midnight Desire started as an obsession with a single ingredient: red ginger. Not the gentle ginger you find in tea — the raw, aggressive, almost violent ginger of Cochin markets at 6am. That heat. That charge. That feeling.

We built the fragrance backwards from that ginger. What does something that bold need to settle into? Toffee. Not synthetic sweetness — real caramelised sugar darkness, the kind that stays on your tongue. Then we anchored everything in bourbon vanilla and Tonka from Sri Lanka — warm, creamy, almost edible.

The result is a fragrance that behaves like a great night: it starts loud, it gets deeper, it becomes impossible to forget. At 45% extrait, it does not ask for your attention. It simply takes it.”

The olfactive direction is inspired by the same warm-spicy gourmand DNA — red ginger, cardamom, caramelised accord, vanilla base. But Midnight Desire is not a clone. At 45% extrait concentration, it performs 3–4x longer than TMW Eau de Parfum (which is 15%). The depth and warmth of the base in Midnight Desire is significantly richer due to the concentration. Several customers who own both prefer ours for longevity and intensity.

This is the most common concern. The honest answer: yes, it is a warm-weather beast mode fragrance — best in evenings and cooler temperatures. In AC environments or after sunset, it is exceptional. For 35°C afternoons outdoors, we recommend a lighter fragrance or 1 spray only. The ginger top note gives it surprisingly good freshness that prevents it from becoming cloying.

2 sprays is the sweet spot for most people. 1 spray for conservative office settings. 3 for a night out. Never more than 3 — the extrait concentration means each spray has the impact of 2–3 EDP sprays. New users: start with 1. Let it bloom. You will be surprised how far one spray travels.

One verified reviewer specifically mentioned staining on light fabrics. As with all extrait-concentration perfumes, caution on white and very light garments is advised. Apply from arm’s length of at least 15cm. For light shirts, spray on skin only (neck, wrists) rather than fabric. The high oil content is what creates incredible longevity — the same thing that can stain light fabrics.

The concentration range is 40–45%, varying slightly batch to batch based on natural oil sourcing — which is why we use the “~” qualifier. Every batch is formulated to Extrait de Parfum standards (35%+ threshold). The performance is consistent: 8–9 hours on skin, 14–18 on fabric, across all batches.
